Our Database

At the heart of the Career Workshop website is our own database of career transitions resources.  The database contains details of thousands of recruiters, companies, job sites, associations, journals, websites, books, newspapers, industry bodies and many other sources. 

All of the information in the Online Transitions Centre is taken directly from the database which means that our web content is completely up-to-date and refreshed on an ongoing basis.

From the database we also create our documents - listings and resource guides covering the most popular subject areas that job-seekers are interested in.

All documents are available in PDF format, fully formatted.  Some types of document, such as listings containing addresses are also available in Excel spreadsheet format.

You can find out what documents are currently available by looking in the Research Store.  Documents can be purchased individually online or by post. 

Users of our Online Transitions Centre have access to all our documents as part of the support package.

We update the database every working day adding new records or checking existing data.  Every record is verified for accuracy at least once every six months.   Each document is also updated at least once every six months and the latest version is clearly shown in the Research Store.
